34 Weeks!

Well we made it to 34 Weeks!

How far along?  34 weeks on the dot.

Total weight gain/loss?  Total gained: 29lbs, but feels like 50!

Maternity clothes? All maternity clothes just out of a desire to be comfortable. Some of my regular clothes still fit but just are not comfortable.

Stretch marks? Tiny little spots on my side, but I don't think they will develop into full lines. Still lathering on the body butter!

Sleep?  Here and there. My restless legs are back with a vengeance and keeping me from sleeping easily.

Best moment last week? Having another great visit with our midwife and hearing that baby girl is still very healthy, head down, and that we are both right on track. We also took our maternity pictures tonight with my good friend Jynelle. Cannot wait to see and share the results!

Movement? I am convinced she doesn't sleep, like at all. I feel her all day long, and constantly throughout the night. I think she must be very long because I feel her up under my ribs and down deep in my hip bones all at once. Little girl is stretched out!

Food cravings? Still very much enjoying the Fall flavors. I made Spiced Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip for our birth class last week and it was yummmm. :)

Gender? Baby girl.

Labor signs? Nope, just getting uncomfortable as the days go on.

Belly button in/out? Still in.

What I miss: Being able to just grab something out of my closet and throw it on. I am not enjoying having a more limited wardrobe. Also, getting up and down or bending and leaning easily. It takes so much more work these days!

What I am looking forward to: Going to Ikea this Sunday to get nursery furniture and putting little Miss' room together.

Milestones: Putting in my official request for maternity leave. Due date is Nov 8th, and my last day of work will be Nov 2nd, unless someone shows up early.

31 weeks

How far along?  31 weeks and 4 days.

Total weight gain/loss?  Total gained: 22 lbs.

Maternity clothes? All maternity pants, still wearing most of my regular tops.

Stretch marks? None, but I did wake up one morning with that fun little line down my belly.

Sleep?  The 3rd trimester sleepies have definitely set in. I love naps! :)

Best moment last week? Becoming a family! We are now Mr. and Mrs. and it feels good to get ready to welcome our baby girl now as a real family.

Movement? Laura Lynn moves all the time these days and I feel here EVERYWHERE. Sometimes she takes up the most amount of space and I can feel her stretch across my stomach. I think she has long legs.

Food cravings?  Pumpkin is back! I am craving everything about Fall...cinnamon, nutmeg, and of course pumpkin!

Gender? Baby girl.

Labor signs? Nothing yet. I thought I might be having Braxton Hicks contractions, but I think I was wrong.

Belly button in/out? Still in.

What I miss: My ankle bones. Hello cankles!

What I am looking forward to: Now that the wedding is over I am excited to get into baby shower planning and setting up our little girl's room.

Milestones: We are now in the single digit countdown. Everything about this pregnancy has just flown by!

The day

It is September 1st, 2012 and today I marry the love of my life.

It's a beautiful day in St. Augustine with not a cloud in the sky.

We had a nice breakfast at the hotel, and are now sitting in bed drinking coffee and chatting
like it's any other day.

Aaron made a comment about how people keep telling us not to be nervous. I don't think we have ever been more relaxed in our lives. This day has been a long time coming. We had only been together 2 weeks the night we layed in bed and scribbled out a wedding guest list on a piece of paper. We still have that list in our bedroom at home.

We've known for a very long time that we had found home within each other.

I am so calm.

I am so happy.

This is going to be an amazing day.
